UPDATE: New book launch September 2021.

During the course of my research, I had to get in touch with the PR manager of Wreckers International in 1974 and while we were talking he asked me if I remembered flying over to the US to introduce the Air Cushions; of course, I remembered and told him that it was in 1970 ( a date my Dad gave me !!!)
He was able to provide proof that we came over to the US with the Air Cushions in 1975  and drove from New York City to Los Angeles in six weeks starting on October 11th. ( he still had the landing pass in his passport.)
All that means is that in the two books I have already written I got the date wrong and that Air Cushions in the USA started in 1975.
He told me that he still had all the negatives from that trip and some video film. and would I like them!!
He sent everything to me, I printed some 750 photos, some 230 of which I have now put into a new book called
Air Cushions: The beginning Coast to Coast USA 1975.
I have added my comments to these photos as I was part of the team that did this trip, along with my Father and Mother and Fred Noble..
These photos show
